This is the term given to the need to have an income or salary continue regardless of circumstances that may affect it.

You can get income or salary continuation insurance these are known as income protection plans permanent health insurance or even accident sickness and unemployment insurance.

They can differ in some ways such as the way they protect the insured and the way and amount  they can pay out, but they all endeavour to do the same thing and that is to ensure the continuation of ones income or salary
